Not sure which medical consultation is right for you? At Promed Health & Derma, we offer two types of consultations to suit your needs. Our Express Consultation (£55) is designed for those seeking quick, focused advice on a single health concern—ideal if you have a straightforward issue or need guidance on one specific symptom or treatment. This is a 20 minute appointment. 

For patients with more complex needs, multiple concerns, or those looking for a more in-depth health assessment, our 30-Minute Consultation (£90) provides the time for a comprehensive, holistic review and can be booked in 30 minute slots. During this longer appointment, we can explore your medical history in detail, discuss ongoing symptoms, and develop a tailored plan for your wellbeing. 

Whichever option you choose, you can expect expert, personalised care and clear guidance every step of the way. If you’re unsure which consultation is best for you, our team is happy to advise.

Yes, free on street parking is available for all patients at our clinic. 

As long as you have completed the patient registration form and included your full medical history and current medications, you’ll usually just need to bring yourself to your appointment. You may wish to bring something to take notes, and—depending on the type of appointment—any recent test results that may be relevant. If you’re unsure what to bring, feel free to contact our team in advance and we’ll be happy to advise. 

The cost of a blood test at Promed Health & Derma can vary depending on which markers you need checked and the specific symptoms or concerns you have. Because there are many different types of blood tests, it’s difficult to give an exact price without knowing what you’re looking for. 

If you’re unsure which tests you need, we recommend booking a 30-minute medical consultation. During your consultation, a clinician can discuss your symptoms, advise on the most appropriate tests, and provide a clear breakdown of any costs involved.  

This means you’ll only have the tests that are genuinely useful for you – helping you avoid spending money on unnecessary investigations and ensuring you receive the most relevant and accurate testing for your individual situation. 

Yes, Promed Health & Derma is regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). As a registered provider, we adhere to all CQC standards and requirements to ensure the highest levels of patient safety, quality of care, and regulatory compliance. Your wellbeing and confidence in our services are our top priorities.

Yes, we provide referrals for imaging services such as MRI, CT, and ultrasound scans, as well as referrals to specialist consultants when needed. Our team will guide you through the process and ensure you have access to the appropriate diagnostic tests or specialist care to support your health and treatment plan. We do require a consultation to take place to assess why you want a particular scan.

Yes, we accept both Clearpay and Klarna as payment options. These services allow you to spread the cost of your treatment over manageable instalments, making it easier and more convenient to access the care you need. If you have any questions about payment methods or how to use Clearpay or Klarna, our team will be happy to help. 

All medical and cosmetic procedures at Promed Health & Derma are performed by highly qualified and experienced healthcare professionals, including consultant plastic surgeons, advanced nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and independent prescribers. Our team is fully trained and operates in accordance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards, ensuring your safety, comfort, and the highest quality of care at every stage of your treatment.

We understand that plans can change and we’ll always do our best to help you rearrange your appointment, but we do have different cancellation and rescheduling rules depending on the type of treatment. 

For most appointments (all services except steroid joint injections, aesthetics and cosmetic surgery):

• Your appointment is only confirmed once payment is received.
• Payment is due at booking or at least 24 hours before your appointment.
• You can cancel or reschedule with at least 24 hours’ notice.
• If you cancel, reschedule, or do not attend with less than 24 hours’ notice, the full fee is forfeited.

 For steroid joint injections and aesthetics appointments:

• Your appointment is only confirmed once payment is received.
• Payment is due at booking or at least 48 hours (2 full working days) before your appointment.
• You can cancel or reschedule with at least 48 hours’ notice.
• If you cancel, reschedule, or do not attend with less than 48 hours’ notice, the full fee is forfeited.
• This is because we order your prescription medication specifically for you in advance and reserve clinical time for your treatment.

For cosmetic surgery appointments:

• Your appointment is only confirmed once payment is received.
• Payment is due at booking or at least 2 weeks before your surgery date.
• You can cancel or reschedule with at least 48 hours’ notice.
• If you cancel, reschedule, or do not attend with less than 48 hours’ notice, the full fee is forfeited.
• This allows us to secure your surgery date, allocate clinical resources, and manage our schedule fairly for all patients.
