 Meet Mr. Nigel Mabvuure – Consultant Plastic Surgeon

Mr. Nigel Mabvuure is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon with extensive experience across cosmetic, reconstructive and skin surgery. He is on the GMC Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery and holds the specialist FRCS(Plast) qualification, having completed advanced plastic surgery training across several major UK centres.

Nigel graduated from Brighton and Sussex Medical School with Distinction and Honours in Surgery, Medicine and Therapeutics, alongside a First-Class Honours BSc in Biomedical Science. He went on to complete postgraduate and higher specialist training in Glasgow, Newcastle, Nottingham, Essex and Norfolk, as well as an advanced fellowship in head and neck, facial reconstructive and aesthetic surgery.

Alongside his private cosmetic practice, Nigel is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at The Christie Cancer Centre in Manchester, where his specialist work includes complex reconstructive surgery involving the face, head and neck, breast, skin cancer and perineal reconstruction. He has also published more than 60 scientific papers and textbook chapters, reflecting a strong academic and evidence-based surgical background.
