High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) works by delivering focused ultrasound energy into the deeper layers of the vaginal tissue. This creates a controlled thermal effect within the targeted tissue, stimulating fibroblast activity, collagen contraction and new collagen formation. Over time, this collagen remodeling process may help improve tissue firmness, elasticity and support.

Vaginal HIFU may be considered by women who have noticed changes following childbirth, ageing or menopause. Some women also seek treatment for mild symptoms associated with reduced pelvic tissue support, although HIFU is not a replacement for appropriate medical assessment where urinary or pelvic floor symptoms are present.

Treatment is non-surgical and does not involve incisions or injections. Most patients experience minimal downtime and can return to their usual activities shortly after treatment.
