The Promed Advanced Skin Mapping & Treatment Plan goes beyond a traditional aesthetics consultation. It is a detailed, medically led assessment designed for patients who want to understand their skin, identify the changes taking place and receive a structured treatment plan rather than simply choosing a treatment from a menu.

During your appointment, we assess your skin systematically, looking at pigmentation, redness, vascular changes, active acne, acne scarring, enlarged pores, texture, fine lines, collagen loss, skin laxity, facial ageing and overall skin quality.

We also assess your Fitzpatrick skin type, pigmentation risk, previous treatments, current skincare, medical history, medications, lifestyle factors and the amount of treatment downtime you are comfortable with.

Where appropriate, your assessment will include clinical photography so that we can document your starting point and monitor changes throughout your treatment programme.

Your clinician will then identify your primary and secondary skin concerns and explain which treatments are most appropriate for your skin.

Rather than recommending one treatment in isolation, we consider the different layers of the skin and how different technologies can work together. Your personalised plan may include our 1550nm or 1927nm fractional laser, IPL, medical microneedling, chemical peels, Sunekos, Radiesse, polynucleotides, dermal fillers, medical skincare or other appropriate treatment options.

You will leave with a personalised Promed SkinPath recommendation explaining:

If you choose to start a qualifying Promed Skin Treatment Pathway within 30 days of your assessment, £50 of your assessment fee will be deducted from the cost of your programme.

These may include medical skincare, fractional laser, regenerative skin treatments, dermal fillers, collagen bio-stimulation and, where clinically appropriate, prescription treatment options following an individual medical assessment.

Successful acne treatment starts by controlling active disease before attempting to treat the scars it leaves behind.

The Promed Acne Control pathway is designed for patients experiencing congestion, blackheads, oily skin, recurring breakouts and mild to moderate active acne.

Following a clinical skin assessment, treatment may combine personalised home skincare, medical chemical peels and selected IPL treatments where appropriate. Where acne is more significant, persistent or inflammatory, our medically led team can advise whether additional medical treatment or referral is required.

Typical pathway: skin assessment + 3 medical peels + up to 2 selected IPL treatments + personalised homecare with possible prescription only medications.
